Celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Glenaladale Settlers with our Tartan Dinner! Join us for a generous 3 course meal of Scottish influenced fare and a festive gathering where we hope you’ll don your Tartans! Experience how one is to address the Haggis and savour a dram in honour of the Highlands. Slà inte mhath!
MENU OPTIONS
Starters
Citrus salad with raspberry vinaigrette : sections of navel oranges, limes, blood oranges, goat cheese, roasted spiced pecans, radicchio lettuce, local micro greens (vegan)
Cock-a-Leekie Soup: chicken, leek, celery, potatoes, barley, cream (traditional Scottish soup)
Mains
Prime Rib Dinner : garlic and herb rubbed PEI Atlantic prime rib, mashed potatoes with chives and cracked pepper, roasted turnips, cremini mushroom, Asparagus, pan gravy
Maple Salmon : fresh Atlantic salmon, Glasgow Glen gouda scalloped potatoes, Asparagus, and sautéed bell peppers.
Pepper crusted tofu steak, served with chimichurri, herb roasted baby potatoes, garlic heirloom carrots and asparagus (vegan)
Desserts
Raspberry trifle- layers of Chantilly cream, fresh raspberries, vanilla sponge cake, fresh mint, dusted cocoa powder.
Marinated Strawberry cup- local strawberries, marinated in Grand Marnier liqueur, served with homemade shortbread and icing, and a traditional Scottish tablet.
Rich Chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, macerated strawberries, candied walnut (vegan)
