Bestselling Scottish author Angus MacDonald will launch his fourth novel, on a book tour of Canada and
the eastern U.S. this summer.
The Secret of Ardnish tells the story of Peter Angus Gillies who leaves his life in Canada to travel to
Ardnish, the land of his ancestors, on the remote west coast of Scotland. Bewitched by tales of buried
treasure lost centuries before from a ship transporting French gold to help the Jacobite cause, Peter
Angus sets out to find the gold with the help of a beautiful local girl.

The Wonders of Weaving

The workshop fee is $275.00 pp + HST. All materials are included. Space is limited to 8 people - a maximum of 2 people per loom to ensure there is plenty of time for each participant to be "hands-on"

Glenaladale Big Canoe Paddle and Historic Portage

July 2nd - 3rd 2022

As part of the Glenaladale 250 Celebration, we will be tracing the "highway" of the Mi'kmaq people and early European settlers who used what is now called the Hillsborough River to paddle inland to a historic portage route from the river connecting to the North Shore at Tracadie Bay.
